ProjectEXtra comprises of several extra (hence the name) platforms we use to connect with Pearlshippers that have content that aren't strictly formal or official to Project Pearlshipping. These are:

.Twitter: There is actually minimal content overlap here, and we will retweet Pokemon and Pearlshipping stuff you guys might find interesting, and there are also some Japanese fanartists that post their work on twitter, which we will retweet. Oh yes, we also post anime screenshots/ out of context pics here.
Tumblr: Tumblr is our newest feature and we only have a few followers at the moment. We'll reblog pearlshipping posts and follow pearlshipping accounts.

I just can't like Serena. Not because of Amourshipping, but she is so lame and OVERRATED! There is nothing special about her. She doesn't deserve all this love she is getting. Serena is the worst of all 5 girls. So what if they made her attractive, Dawn is just as attractive if not more.
On this youtube video "Why Dawn was the best thing to happen to Pokémon" a Serena fan came on their and commented that the video become invalid since the introduction of Serena. The person's argument was that since Serena has a crush on Ash she is better and that she "be enough" for her personality. It pissed me off, but a youtuber commented and made a good argument for why Serena is not the best. I suggest you guys check it out.

I just did. And I completely agree with you. Just goes to show how much better Pearlshippers are at constructing arguments. (I noticed that the person who responded was called Pearl4life or something like that.)

I was checking out the Pearlshipping vault and I happened to stumble across the comment regarding whether I am an Amourshipper or not.
I'm not an Amourshipper. I like Pearlshipping. I understand why you guys hate Serena, but I mean we shouldn't put her down before she gets a chance to have some development. If we get past the whole crush on Ash thing she can be a likeable character. The writers are only doing this to do something different. Honestly I don't even think they were planning on Amourshipping at first. Pokémon fans (well US fans as far as I know) went crazy over this ship before the series even started. I think that's why they started to promote Amourshipping.
Well anyway back on topic. Serena is honestly not that bad, it's just her crazy fans that are making her look bad in our eyes.

Ah, I see your point now. I'm starting to agree.
But I haven't seen anything interesting about Serena really, she's always just there. You're right, if we took away her crushing feelings for Ash, maybe there is something underneath, but since her character is made up of just that feeling (as far as we know), it's hard to say that. I want to keep an open mind though. IceArceus actually chickened out on replying because of her obvious hatred towards the character! I hope we'll see something in Serena at some point, though obviously not so much that Ash begins to like her, let alone like like, as in LIKE.

Sorry for assuming you were an OTP Amourshipper, it was just that there was so much distaste to Serena that anything defending her had a huge amount of contrast. It is good to keep an open mind since the anime can be unpredictable at times. Pearlshippers now have to work with the past due to BW's end, but that's not a problem either.

That would be cool as long as there are enough users around. I think a fb page would be a good form of promotion for quick updates. It would probably need a link on this site, however.
